The John Astin Theatre, seating 100, with a classic proscenium stage, hosts all JHU Theatre productions. The Barn is also home to the Undergraduate Program in Theatre Arts & Studies.

We would like to acknowledge that Merrick Barn is located on the unceded lands of the Piscataway and Susquehannock peoples, and that before it was a theatre, it was a site of human enslavement.
