McClendon is an award-winning actor, who was recently seen on Broadway in <em>Thoughts of a Colored Man<\/em>. He was nominated for a Tony Award for <em>The Scottsboro Boys<\/em>, and has acted in numerous productions in Baltimore, Washington DC, and throughout the country.
