The Dr. Saraf Memorial Award supports up to two Krieger undergraduate students per year for the purpose of participating in an international independent research study in the humanities or social sciences through the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarly & Creative Activity (URSCA). Interdisciplinary research studies through URSCA are also eligible if part of the study involves the humanities or social sciences. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each awardee will receive up to $7,500 to fund their research project. Awarded funds may be used for travel expenses (including transportation, lodging, and meals), as well as all research-related expenses, including books, software, equipment, access to museums\/archives\/libraries\/research sites, and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Dr. Saraf Memorial Award is intended to give students the opportunity to dream big in imagining an international research project. Applicants are encouraged to propose projects that will take them to multiple countries, or to pursue cultural immersion in a single locale. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
