WGS Summer Research Fellowships Open

The Program for the Study of Women, Gender, and Sexuality (WGS) is soliciting applications for Summer Research Fellowships. The fellowships to be used to fund independent research on issues related to gender and sexuality.

Undergraduates may receive grants of up to $1,000.
Graduates may receive grants of up to $2,000.

All applicants must be students in the Krieger School. Students graduating in Spring or Summer 2020 are not eligible. Students who receive funding are required to take part in one of two daylong public workshops held during the fall or spring semester following the period of support.

Deadline for applications

The deadline is April 6, 2020. Applications consist of:

  • A 1-2 pp. letter of application describing the research to be conducted
  • A budget
  • A letter of support from an adviser.
