Biography
Francis Galasi is a cultural historian of early modern religion and medicine in the Hispanic world, particularly the Philippines. His dissertation examined the Discalced Franciscans' healing missions in the early modern Philippines through a semiotic lens. He received his Ph.D. in History from Johns Hopkins University in August 2022.
