Biography
I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Philosophy. On the philosophical side of things, I specialize in ethics, especially foundational questions about value, normativity, and the basis of our obligations to human beings and to the natural world. On the writing side of things, I have taught classes in the Program in Expository Writing, and I currently work as a consultant in JHU's writing center; previously I have tutored writers at Bergen Community College and as part of the Bard Prison Initiative.
