Arthur J. Russell teaches and writes about premodern literature and the rhetoric of the senses. His current projects investigate the sensory ecologies of premodern media, especially as they relate to the phenomenon of feeling, and their afterlives in contemporary art and culture. Recent work appears in postmedieval and Exemplaria.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\r\n
