Blue Jays completed their Fall Semester field training exercise (FTX) in November! Cadets spent three days at Gunpowder Military Reservation learning squad level tactics, land navigation, and weapons familiarization. Collectively, they completed 81 situational training exercise (STX) lanes. Motivation was high and performance was excellent. This training event serves to help Cadets learn and receive feedback while improving small unit leadership skills. The next major field training event for the Blue Jay Battalion is the Spring FTX in April. Way to go, Blue Jays!
