This past week was the Becoming Everything You Are (BEYA) STEM conference, which is a three-day learning, networking, celebrating excellence, and showcasing STEM career opportunities event for African American STEM students.

During the conference one of our very own, Cadet Mikaela Furman a Senior Mechanical Engineering major accepted her 4-year scholarship that was presented by Deputy Commanding General Amanda Azubuike of U.S. Army Cadet Command and our Professor of Military Science LTC Brandon Thompson. Congratulations, we are so proud of you!
