Cadet Michelle Berndt attended Airborne School at Fort Moore, GA this past summer! She was in Charlie Company Class 28-29 and selected as one of the few honor grads. Below is a little bit about her experience.
“Attending Airborne school was an eye-opening experience, both in terms of the Army and for myself. It was awesome to see life in the Army outside of ROTC and I enjoyed every second of it. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to tactically jump out of a plane, not once, not twice but five times! It made me appreciate the paratroopers who serve our country today. Airborne all the way!” – CDT Berndt
Airborne School teaches the techniques involved in parachuting from airplanes and landing safely as well as developing leadership, self-confidence, and aggressive spirit through mental and physical conditioning. The final test is 5 unassisted jumps.
On graduation day CDT Berndt was selected as an honor grad! To be an honor graduate strenuous dedication and attention to detail is required. Congratulations!!!!
