Major Megan B. Hale is a Physical Therapist (65B) in the US Army Reserve.
After obtaining her undergraduate degree in Health Sciences from Clemson University (Go Tigers!), she attended the US Army – Baylor University Doctor of Physical Therapy program. After an internship year at Fort Hood, MAJ Hale served as a Physical Therapy clinic chief at Fort Benning, lead PT for the Maneuver Tactical Athlete Program for the 198th Infantry Training Brigade, and Commander of the Fitness Training Unit. She also completed a musculoskeletal residency and obtained Board Certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy.
After 8 years on Active Duty, MAJ Hale transitioned to the Reserve where she is now working as an Assistant Professor of Military Science (APMS) at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. She also works for the Department of the Army as the Physical Therapy Chief at Fort Meade.
In her role as an APMS for JHU, MAJ Hale hopes to inspire and motivate the next generation of Army officers. She is also an avid runner and triathlete, completing her first 70.3 Ironman event in 2018 with her husband.
