Captain Timothy Leung is from Pembroke, Massachusetts. He graduated from Stonehill College in May 2014 with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics and received his commission from Boston University ROTC.

His military education includes Field Artillery Basic Officer Leaders Course, Joint Fires Observer Course, Collateral Damage Estimations Course, Field Artillery Captains Career Course, Rappel Master Course, and the Air Assault School.

His previous assignments include Fire Direction Officer, Platoon Leader, and HHB Executive officer in 1st Battalion, 37th Field Artillery Regiment, 1st BCT, 2nd Infantry Division, Fort Lewis, WA; Fires Officer, Special Operations Joint Task Force – Afghanistan, Camp Sullivan, Afghanistan; Assistant Operations Officer, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd BCT, 101st ABN DIV (AASLT), Fort Campbell, KY; and Battery Commander, A Battery, 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd BCT, 101st ABN DIV (AASLT).

His awards include the Joint Service Commendation Medal (C-Device), Army Commendation Medal-2nd Award, Joint Meritorious Unit Award, Army Achievement Medal-3rd Award, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, NATO Medal, and Air Assault Badge.

Captain Leung, his wife, Gabrielle, and their son, Teddy, currently live in Baltimore, MD, where Captain Leung serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science at The Johns Hopkins University ROTC.
