Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Brandon Bangsboll is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. He is an Infantry officer, commissioned in 2006 from the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point.

LTC Bangsboll served as a Rifle Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer in 2-506, 101st (Air Assault); Mechanized Infantry Company Commander in 2-7 Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division; Company Commander in the 3rd Infantry Regiment (The Old Guard); Staff Officer in Training and Doctrine Command HQ, G-3/5/7 Accessions Directorate; Battalion Operations Officer and Executive Officer in 1st BCT, 101st (Air Assault).  He has been stationed to Fort Campbell, KY; Fort Hood, TX; Fort Myers, VA; Fort Eustis, VA and deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Syria.  He is a Major General James Wright (MGJW) MBA Fellow from the College of William & Mary.

LTC Bangsboll currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Military Science and Executive Officer for the Blue Jay Battalion at the University of Maryland Baltimore College (UMBC) and The Johns Hopkins University (JHU).  He is a values driven leader and is passionate about the Army and service.  He is joined by his wife, Erin, and daughters, Catherine, Annalee and Josephine.
