MAJ Dennis Kim, a native of Staten Island, NY, was commissioned into the Medical Service Corps in 2010 after earning a B.S. from Boston University. His assignments have included roles as Platoon Leader with the 10th Mountain Division in Afghanistan, Medical Planner for 210th Fires Brigade in Korea, and several leadership positions at the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Agency, including Detachment Commander and Business Support Operations Manager.
He later earned an MBA in Supply Chain Management from William & Mary and a Master of Operational Studies from CGSC. Following his education, he served as Brigade S4 and Executive Officer in Korea, and as the Army Capability Manager for Medical Logistics at the Medical CDID, Fort Sam Houston. MAJ Kim’s military education includes AMEDD BOLC, CCC, CGSOC, and airborne and air assault schools. MAJ Kim, his wife Samantha, and daughter reside in Maryland. He is currently the Professor of Military Science at The Johns Hopkins University.
