Master Sergeant Timothy Ivey is from Laurinburg, North Carolina. He enlisted into the United States Army on January 25th, 2006 and attended One Station Unit Training (OSUT) at Fort Sill, Oklahoma as a 13B (Field Artillery Cannoneer).

MSG Ivey, his wife Wera, and two daughters currently live at Fort Meade. MSG Ivey serves as the Senior Military Science Instructor at The Johns Hopkins University ROTC.
