Steven K. Williams was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland where his life centered on religious activities, academics, sports, and band. After graduating from The Baltimore City College in 1982, he joined the United States Army.
During his 25 years of honorable active-duty military service, he held numerous leadership positions and achieved the rank of Sergeant Major- Select. Steven earned many awards, including the Legion of Merit. He served in Georgia, Texas, Oklahoma, Germany, Hawaii and Korea. Steven is a member of the prestigious Sergeant Morales and Sergeant Audie Murphy Clubs. He was also inducted into the Order of Saint Barbara.
Steven holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Chaminade University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from University of Hawaii as well. His military education includes many military science and leadership courses.
Steven’s hobbies include basketball, mentoring and traveling. He started his civilian career in the ROTC at Johns Hopkins University because he enjoys military service and wanted to continue his service to help grow other future military leaders.
Steven is a proud Father and Grandfather. Steven is single and has a thirty-seven-year-old son who resides in Houston, Texas.
