I used the University Fellowship to research Bosnia’s ‘incomplete’ reconciliation process, including three weeks of in-person research in Bosnia.

I was able to take that summer experience and turn it into something which will be the basis for a future PhD.

The goal of my research project is to ascertain whether teaching psychiatric diagnostic criteria in English instead of Urdu leads to an internal language barrier between the Urdu-speaking psychiatrist and patient, resulting in misdiagnosis, or lack of diagnoses.
