The Spring 2024 Latin America in a Globalizing World works-in-progress seminar welcomes

Javier Pérez Osorio, PhD Candidate, Film and Screen Studies, University of Cambridge: “Locuras del sur: La Loca as a Latin American Model of Queerness,” and

Bruno Franco, PhD Student, Spanish and Portuguese Program, Modern Languages and Literatures: “BIOPHARMACOPROSTHETICTECHNOCONCEPTION: Toxicity and Queer World-Making in Mario Bellatin’s Body (of Work)”

The second in a two-semester graduate sequence, this course focuses on graduate students and faculty to collaboratively workshop their own research and writing on topics related to Latin American studies.
