Graduate Student Käthe Erichsen Delivers a Talk on Exilic Writing

Congratulations to graduate student Käthe Erichsen for delivering a paper at the Women in Exile conference hosted by the International Feuchtwanger Society and the University of Southern California. The title of her talk was “Exilic Memories: Tracing the Intersection of Gender and Exile in Sonia Wachstein’s Memoir,Too Deep Were Our Roots.” The presentation was based on archival work Käthe did at the Shapell Center in Bowie, Maryland.
