In addition to the various grants, fellowships, and prizes offered to graduate students (see the Graduate Opportunities page), the Singleton Center also encourages graduate students to submit ideas for special programming, such as workshops, seminars, journées d’étude, etc. There must be a faculty adviser for such proposals, although graduate students are expected to take the lead on organizing and running such events. Please contact the center director with your ideas.
The Singleton Center has also initiated exchange programs with a variety of European institutions to which graduate students are encouraged to apply. See the Collaborating Institutions page for a listing of these institutions.
