The University Writing Program helps students become agile writers: people who understand writing as an intellectual practice and a way to make things happen in the world. We are committed to inclusive, creative pedagogy that supports students, colleagues, and our community partners in pursuit of lifelong writing practices. 

UWP’s Reintroduction to Writing classes are part of JHU’s First-year Foundation. They are the second step in a series of intimate courses that strengthen students’ university and community ties from their first moments on campus.
