On November 22, 2024 we will host Professor Margarita Fajardo (Sarah Lawrence) for a discussion of her book “The World that Latin America Created” (Harvard University Press).

The Fall 2024 Arrighi Center seminar is focused on the theme of “Race, Capitalism and Development” and is led by Professors Zophia Edwards and InĂ©s Valdez. The seminar meets weekly on Fridays at 1:30 pm (Baltimore time) and is open to JHU students, faculty, postdocs, visiting scholars, as well as friends in Baltimore and around the world.
