Each year, the CAMS steering committee nominates two PhD candidates for one-year fellowships. The fellows, who can come from any discipline in the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences, focus on a media-related aspect of their research and studies. During the fellowship year, CAMS hosts the students for a lecture on the topic of their research. The stipend amount is comparable to others in the social sciences and humanities.
Applicants must have a Krieger School faculty member from their particular academic division sponsor their project and bring it before the CAMS steering committee.
The application must include a:
- Three-page description of your dissertation/research project focusing on media theory
- Letter of endorsement by a faculty sponsor/advisor
All application materials are kept confidential. Please email [email protected] for application information.
