The Associate Dean of Graduate and Postdoctoral Education is responsible for the leadership and administration of graduate affairs and admissions, with the goal of enhancing academic operations and the educational experience for Krieger School graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. In addition, the associate dean works closely with individual graduate students to triage, manage, and resolve issues impacting well-being and academic success.
Eastwood began at Hopkins in 2003 and has held various positions serving graduate students and postdoctoral fellows. Prior to this role, Eastwood served as Director of Admissions for the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, and prior to that as Assistant Director of Graduate Education for West Virginia University’s schools of Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, & Public Health. She has a B.S. Journalism from West Virginia University and an MLA, Master of Liberal Arts, focusing on contemporary American cultures from Kreiger's Advanced Academic Programs.
