The Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board was established in 1998 to assist the dean of the school in promoting understanding of the school’s key issues and concerns and to facilitate constructive dialogue among external constituents and the school’s faculty and administration. The Advisory Board has served as a vital link between the school’s past and its future, giving counsel to the dean and other key leaders of the school.
The mission of the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences Advisory Board is:
- To promote understanding by alumni and other involved constituencies of key issues and concerns facing the School and to promote dialogue about such issues with the School’s faculty and administrators;
- To increase the School’s financial resources and expand its base of charitable support;
- To advocate on behalf of the School to external and internal constituencies;
- To present the School’s interests and concerns to the University’s Board of Trustees.
