The Program in Medicine, Science, and the Humanities in partnership with the Center for Medical Humanities and Social Medicine are accepting applications for Summer Research Fellowships. The fellowships will fund independent research in the medical humanities and/or science & technology studies. Successful fellows will be required to present their research in a workshop the following fall semester and to contribute to the MSH Blog.
- Undergraduates may receive grants of up to $1,000.
- Graduate students may receive grants of up to $3,000.
Requirements and Deadlines:
All applicants must be Krieger School students (of any major) or graduate students affiliated with the Program in the History of Science, Medicine, and Technology. Students graduating in Spring or Summer 2022 are not eligible. Students requiring HIRB clearance for human subjects’ research must receive approval by June 1, 2023.
- Deadline for applications: Sunday, March 12, 2023, midnight EST
- Decision notification: early April 2023
