The Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Johns Hopkins University hosts two information sessions annually. These virtual sessions give students a chance to meet program staff, and ask specific questions about the program and application process. We also host free virtual advising sessions on topics of interests to premedical students.

Strategies for a Successful JHU Post-Bac Application: You’d love to submit a strong application. We’d love to see your application be stronger! In this session, representatives of the JHU Post-Bac Premedical Program are going to give advice you can apply to creating a stronger application for the program (and probably other programs too). Get an insider’s view of the admissions process, and you can make it work for you. Learn what Admissions Committees grapple with in the review process, and hear what questions they ask about your application. Learn how we think about competitiveness and what experiences really matter.

Do you need a post-bac program? What kind? How do you find them? How can they be different or the same? Understandably, students can have a lot of questions and be unsure how to get answers they can trust. This is the first of two videos designed to help you get trusted answers, where we cover the basics of post-bac programs to help you get started.
In the first video, we discussed the basics of post-bac programs. In this second video, we review an approaching to choosing a program based on identifying and then using your individual preference so that you get what you want out of your post-bac experience.
