Masterclass, “Renaissance Print Culture in the Low Countries”

The Virginia Fox Stern Center for the History of the Book in the Renaissance is offering a graduate student master class with Stern Director Earle Havens, the Nancy H. Hall Curator of Rare Books and Manuscripts at the Johns Hopkins Sheridan Libraries, on Renaissance print culture in the Low Countries.

The masterclass will include visits to the Rare Books Division of the Library of Congress, the Rare Book and Prints and Drawings departments of the National Gallery of Art, and a private collection of rare books from the Plantin-Moretus Press. Transportation and meals will be provided.

The event is open to Hopkins faculty and graduate students. Attendance is free, but space is limited to 15 and advance registration is required.
