Molly Moores (she/her/hers) appeared as a Guest Professional Artist in JHU’s 2022 production of The Glass Managerie (Amanda) and hosted a Master Class Workshop on auditioning for JHU’s Theatre Arts & Studies department last fall.

Molly is a Senior Acting Company Member and Teaching Artist with Chesapeake Shakespeare Company (CSC) in Baltimore, where she has worked as an actor in over 35 productions since 2011, including Romeo and Juliet, A Christmas Carol, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth, and Much Ado About Nothing. Molly teaches acting classes for adults at CSC’s Studio and teaches residencies and workshops in local schools. She has also served CSC as Acting Company Manager and Assistant Director.

In addition to CSC, Molly has acted with Ford’s Theatre, Baltimore Shakespeare Festival, Theatre Hopkins and understudied at Folger Theatre and Studio Theatre. Molly is a private acting coach, focusing on monologue audition prep for students of all ages.

Molly is also a teaching artist with Arts for Learning Maryland, where she has performed her own, one-woman show, Miss Molly’s Midsummer Night’s Dream to school audiences across Maryland since 2009.

Molly appeared in the Neflix’s show, House of Cards, and has worked on many commercials, industrials, and voice overs. She is currently the voice of Towson University’s phone mail system.

Molly holds a BA in Drama/English from Loyola University in Baltimore and is a graduate of the Studio Acting Conservatory in D.C.. Other training includes American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
