We are excited to share that the Center for Visual Arts has a new installation of student work on display at the Student Exhibition Art Wall in the Bloomberg Student Center!

This exhibition showcases the works of students from Professor Murphy’s Fall 2025 Painting II course, which includes Prisha Rathi, Angela Jun, Sabrene Mechergui, Daniel Xie, Vivian Lee, and Sara Ros.

The work on display is from an assignment where students used drone footage captured on campus to create aerial landscape paintings, emphasizing atmospheric and aerial perspective. Working in collaboration with Roy Henry Sr., Multimedia Producer in University Communications, the class selected campus buildings to feature, while Henry operated the drone and recorded the footage.

The resulting works are oil paintings on hand-stretched canvas.
