Education: MFA

Berger received an MFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art. A practicing Fine Arts Photographer, Berger supervised the Photography program for The Center for Visual Arts in the School of Arts and Sciences. She has taught interdisciplinary courses at JHU including Writing Seminars, History of Science, Political Science, Museum Studies and Peabody Conservatory. She currently teaches in the Master of Liberal Arts programs. Berger is an instructor at the Maryland Institute College of Art, Division of Continuing Studies, where she is the recipient of an excellence in teaching award. She created and leads the JHU Summer Abroad program at the Burren College of Art County Clare, Ireland. Berger is a recipient of two artist residencies in Rochefort en Terre, Brittany, France and has been awarded numerous teaching grants through JHU (Arthur Vining Davis, Arts Innovation).
