Jungmin Yoo is a Ph.D. candidate in the English department at Johns Hopkins University. She holds a B.A. and an M.A. in English literature from Sogang University, South Korea. Her dissertation examines the British Empire’s literary entwinement with East Asian geopolitics in the long nineteenth century. Her articles have appeared in Dickens Quarterly, George Eliot–George Henry Lewes Studies, and Wallace Stevens Journal.
