Justin Lorts is a lecturer in the University Writing Program and Senior Director of Scholars & Fellows Programs in the Center for Student Success (CSS), where he oversees programs focused on scholar development, including the university’s National Fellowships Program. Prior to joining the CSS, he worked in administrative roles in advising, academic affairs and career services. He holds a Ph.D. in History from Rutgers University – New Brunswick and has taught a variety of interdisciplinary courses at Rutgers, New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study, Princeton University, and Johns Hopkins.
