On November 15, 2024 we will host Professor Charisse Burden-Stelly for a discussion of her book Black Scare/Red Scare (University of Chicago Press).

For those with access to the Hopkins Library, the Black Scare/Red Ebook ebook is available in the JHU library.

The Fall 2024 Arrighi Center seminar is focused on the theme of “Race, Capitalism and Development” and is led by Professors Zophia Edwards and InĂ©s Valdez. The seminar meets weekly on Fridays at 1:30 pm (Baltimore time) and is open to JHU students, faculty, postdocs, visiting scholars, as well as friends in Baltimore and around the world.
