2018 Artists in Residence Announced

2018 Artists in Residence Announced
MacArthur Award-winner Mary Reid Kelley and her collaborator and husband Patrick Kelley have been named as the CAMS 2018 artists in residence. The BMA will present an exhibition of their work, which includes two films featuring their signature black-and-white sets and costumes and six light boxes, from April 4 to Aug. 19.

Hidden Museums of Crochet, an exhibition photographed and curated by Megha Sharma Sehdev, will be on display in Gallery Q in the MSE Library, Feb. 15 through March 15. Join us for an opening reception 5-6 p.m., Feb. 15. Refreshments will be served.


“Madrid, Urban Poetry” Exhibit and Talk by Fernando Sánchez

The exhibit, “Madrid, Urban Poetry,” by Fernando Sánchez focuses on the effects of the economic crisis on Spain’s capital. The exhibition is running from Oct. 24 to Nov. 17 in the MSE Library Q Level. The opening reception was held Tuesday, Oct. 24 and featured a talk by the artist.

This fall, the Italian Program in collaboration with CAMS, the Film and Media Program, and the Program for the Study of Women, Gender and Sexuality is hosting critically acclaimed Italian filmmaker Alina Marazzi for a series of screenings and conversations with the Hopkins and Baltimore communities.
