The Neural Basis of Cognitive Flexibility in Primates

A major challenge in neuroscience is to understand how neurons in one area can specifically communicate information to a subset of neurons in another area. I answer two questions: How is sensory information communicated to areas involved in decision-making? And how does communication between areas change after a focal lesion?
