Congratulations to M&S instructor, Joseph Plaster, on being awarded the 2024 Randy Shilts Award for Gay Nonfiction, presented by the Publishing Triangle, for his book, “Kids on the Street: Queer Kinship and Religion in San Francisco’s Tenderloin”!
The Publishing Triangle is a group of queer folks who work to further the publication of books and other materials written by LGBTQ authors or with LGBTQ themes. Founded in 1988, The Publishing Triangle works to create support and a sense of community for lesbian and gay people in the publishing industry.
