Austin Heath holds a BA from Hamilton College, an MSt in Ancient Philosophy from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in Philosophy from Johns Hopkins. His dissertation, “Pyrrhonian Practice: Pyrrhonian Skepticism as Investigative, Suspensive, and Therapeutic” combines his interests in ancient skeptical traditions and the nature of philosophical and non-philosophical inquiry. In his work, he tries to find forms of inquiry that foster epistemic virtue as well as the means to put those forms into practice.
