Julia Houser is a PhD student in the English department at Johns Hopkins University. Her research interests include the novel in the 19th and 20th centuries, the work and life of Henry James, and Jewish-American literature. She received a BA from Harvard in 2021. 

Before coming to Hopkins, I worked for a year as a 5th grade teacher in the Boston area, specializing in Language Arts.
