Jungmin Yoo is a Ph.D. student in the English department at Johns Hopkins University. She holds a BA and an MA in English literature from Sogang University, South Korea. Her research focuses on the intersection between Victorian literature, novel theory, political thought, and empire studies. Her peer-reviewed articles have appeared in Dickens Quarterly and George Eliot–George Henry Lewes Studies.
