Lauren Fusilier joined the University Writing Program in 2024. Her courses employ multimodal composing to examine issues of embodied experience, media literacy, and social equity. Mirroring these themes, her research delves into the intersections of digital literacies, multiliteracy center practices, and non-dominant student experiences. She earned a PhD in Rhetoric & Composition from the University of Louisville and MFA from Florida State University. She loves loud music, good fiction, and naughty dogs.
