The JHU East Asian Studies Student Advisory Committee has just published the 2021-2022 issue of the East Asian Studies Forum and Review. The EASFR is an annual publication of interdisciplinary research with a regional focus on East Asia produced entirely by undergraduate students. It aims to showcase undergraduate research and promote awareness and scholarly discussion of a vibrant, diverse, and increasingly prominent region of the world. The 2021-2022 issue features a total of seventeen papers written by Johns Hopkins University students. Submissions consist of course papers, senior theses, and independent research. The journal is divided into three categories: Public Health in East Asia; Historical and Geopolitical Matters of the Twentieth Century; and Contemporary Social, Geopolitical, and Security Issues.
