JHU Intersession Abroad course in January 2020: Bermuda – Island Sustainability

This year, the ENVS program offered an Intersession Abroad course in Bermuda in January, entitled Island Sustainability. Taught by Dr. Rebecca Kelly, this hands-on course enabled students to explore how the island nation of Bermuda handles issues such as food, water, energy, waste, and biodiversity conservation and to evaluate the sustainability of these practices.

Senior capstone project presentations held December 3-5, 2019

Thirteen senior environmental science and studies majors gave talks on their senior capstone projects on December 3-5, 2019, in Olin Hall.  Projects ranged from policy analysis to a documentary film on Baltimore’s brown fields.  For more details, check out the Senior Projects page.
