Florence Martin is the Dean John Blackford Van Meter Professor of French Transnational Studies at Goucher College. The author of the books Screens and Veils: Maghrebi Women’s Cinema (Indiana UP, 2011) and Farida Benlyazid and Moroccan Cinema (Palgrave Macmillan, 2024), she has published journal articles and book chapters internationally on the blues, francophone literature and French and francophone cinema.
