Screenwriter, playwright, and teacher Marc Lapadula inspired and guided generations of young writers in his many years of teaching at Johns Hopkins University. The Marc Lapadula Screenwriting Prize has been established in his honor. A $4,000 award for a completed feature script will be awarded this year to a senior graduating with a major or minor in Film and Media Studies who shows particular promise in screenwriting.
