“unravelling” by Senior Lecturer John Mann in Ethnografilm Festival

“unravelling” is a dance for the camera film (S16mm) drawn from Rilke’s Eighth Elegy: “and we, spectators, always, everywhere turned toward the world of objects, never outward. It fills us. We arrange it. It breaks down. We rearrange it, then break down ourselves.” The film will be screened in the  Ethnografilm Festival in Paris, March 30. John Bright Mann: director, cinematographer, composer, editor; Susan Leslie Mann: producer, choreographer.
