Studio North, the student-run film production company at Johns Hopkins University, will celebrate its 10th anniversary at its annual red-carpet premiere on April 24, 2024, at the Parkway Theater. This year’s event will feature the two 2023-2024 grant cycle winning films, Cocaine to London by Devin Andrada and Red Prior by Sophia Lin.
The Studio North Premiere is a highly anticipated event each year. The red carpet begins at 6:30pm. As guests arrive, they have the opportunity to have photos taken on the red carpet and enjoy complimentary light bites. The screening begins at 7:00pm and is followed by a Q&A session with the student filmmakers. The evening is capped off by the eagerly-awaited announcement of the grant winners for the upcoming year.
