FilmNation Entertainment 

In the summer after my junior year, I interned at FilmNation Entertainment, a production company based in Los Angeles. I’d always dreamed of working there, as some of the films they had produced (Arrival, The Imitation Game, Mud) were genuinely responsible for getting me into film in the first place. While there, I was able to further hone my script coverage skills, work on an individualized research project, and attend intern seminars covering various aspects of the industry. It was such a privilege to get a glimpse into the inner workings of one of my favorite production companies, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the support of the Kelly-Clyne internship grant and the previous intern experiences I’ve had the chance to take on thanks to the Hopkins network.
