The Italian Section is delighted to announce that Professor Laura Di Bianco has been selected as an Alexander Grass Humanities Center (AGHI) fellow. During the 2024-2025 academic year, she will join the “Friday Lunches,” biweekly convivial gatherings during which AGHI fellows share their works-in-progress. Professor Di Bianco will be presenting on Alice Rohrwacher’s La Chimera, a case study from her developing book project Crumbling Beauty. In the Spring 2025, she will also involve graduate students in the organization of a symposium on Italy and Climate media, that will bring to JHU leading scholars in the field of Environmental Humanities.
