Congratulations to Professor Christiane Frey for winning the MLA Prize for an Edited Collection! The prize was awarded to Professor Frey along with her co-editor Elizabeth Brogden for the volume Milieus of Minutiae: Contextualizing the Small in Literature, Philosophy, and Science (University of Virginia Press, 2024). The award committee singles out the volume for “forging a truly interdisciplinary conversation” on the aesthetic, scientific, and cultural dimensions of the miniscule matters that fill our world.
